Someone’s probably mentioned this, but the 14’s with pentastars have 8 spd transmissions. Owner of a 14 limited 👋 we bought at 80k in 2020 and now have 140k. Thing has been very reliable! Couples cornplaints…BRAKES. I have to service them much more than our Toyotas. Same amount of miles put on per year same driving habits and conditions, and this annoying loud wooshing sound on the highway that has not gone away even with checking belly shields, cowl area, everything... Rear shocks needed replacement, did the all-metal upgraded oil cooler (no issues since and it was only leaking a tad anyway), have kept up on oil and other fluids and filters but really have had no major work necessary. Odds and ends like a rad, hoses, thermo, and the like. Still the same battery, never a CEL. I call it the “exception” lol. I know a lot of folks have had major issues with theirs but ::knock on wood:: anyway. Loved the video!

Here's the thing.... If there's a software issue with your transmission or your engine... The mechanics can't fix it... All they can do is apply and update if there's one available but there's there's none available then they can't fix it... I think people need to understand that.

I was lookin at new trucks all makes couldn't touch new one for under 100k so that was not an option. Found a 2012 f650 with 12foot flat bed in it setting in a field,paid 2500 for it because guy put new motor in it at 450k said old one using alot of oil then he they loaded it 30lbs and burned tranny up i put a new tranny in it after verification of new motor. Been driving it 1 year love it,found a tune place had it tuned and by all means its not a race truck but if you punch mine like he did your asshole will suck seat when that f650 jumps to 65mph in just a few seconds. Its tuned at 550 hp and 500ftp torque i get 10 mpg if i keep my foot out of it 8 in the city. It used to shut off at 75mph now it has no limiter on it and we pushed it one night coming back to Houston on i10 115mph pulling a trailer.

How can Hyundai not have rear AC vents on a $36,000 to $37,000 dollar car? As well, I would NOT purchase any new car without donut spare. Who wants to be stuck in the middle of an extremely dark highway at 2 am and have to deal with a" fix a flat." Yes, you can get roadside assistance, but now what, you have to wait until the tow truck driver repairs the flat. He may even refuse to repair it and tow you to the nearest Hyundai dealership, which will be closed.

I have a 2014 v6, and have loved this thing. I also have mopar maxcare with a $100 deductible. Currently have 115k and i have warranty until 150k. I wont be getting rid of it until that expires. Ive been saving $400 monthly as if i had a car note, and when its time to buy a new one...i will be putting down a huge down payment and will be getting another overland. Havent had as many issues as you but ive had a few. With that said, if i didnt have the maxcare i would be pissed. But i dont, so i LOVE IT

Good points made. For only $2700 more why not input for the M package?? That's pocket changes for a vehicle in this price range.... Not sure why anyone wouldn't get the M packages.

Nice video, however, I hope you realized eventually what you did there with the gauge set. You connected the red and blue hoses to the corresponding high and low pressure ports and turned the valves counterclockwise, which was the closed position. You’re supposed to turn the knobs clockwise to depress the shader valves and open the a/c lines to the gauges. If this is how you vacuumed, then you pulled vacuum on the hoses and not the a/c system. I presume you realized so eventually, but did not edit the video.

2011 Grand Cherokee here with 181K Since 2021 I've spent about $8,000 on repairs. Oil pump, catalyst converter. Now AC stopped working and there is a muffler wier noise that needs to be fixed. Ive fixed the back camera and couple other things, but some things I can't fix.

I have a 2012 Overland Hemi 4x, I love it so much BUT, I have had to fix the 💩 out of it. But I love it and I will get a 2019-2020. I had the lifters and cams replaced at 122,000, the starter soon after, the transmission (dealer didn’t hook up lines after lifter job so it was on them), I put a alternator on, a radiator, blend door actuator, reverse sensor module. I did the rear air springs, and put Bilstein 4600s in the rear. One side has a new Arnott air sping/strut, the other side needs one but they are $700 easy, part only. Most of my wood trim fell off. My seats are shredding, (I should have conditioned the leather too late now). It needs an oil pressure sensor which I order, its by the oil filter so should be easy. I love the things, it's a pain sometimes but i really enjoy driving it
